Helios is a family business based in the heart of Germany. With a tradition since 1909, we are the oldest manufacturer of insulated vessels in Europe. The company has grown steadily despite many crises and has asserted itself in a difficult market environment. We see ourselves as a brand manufacturer with the most extensive range in this sector.
We supply all regions of the world. At three locations in Wertheim and at our subsidiary in the Czech Republic, around 100 employees work every day to ensure that our customers always receive products of the highest quality - from consulting to production and shipping.

Our company group consists of three companies that complement each other perfectly. Each of the companies is a specialist in its market. From the production of the individual plastic parts to the fully assembled vacuum jug. This is how we create value and reliability for our customers. 2023
Acquisition of the company MARKUTEC
The takeover of MARKUTEC took place on 01.01.2023. The company will continue to operate as an independent company.
2022
New warehouse
Commissioning of a new logistic building with approx. 3,600 m² of storage space.
2013
New production hall
New production hall for the plastic injection molding plant in the Czech Republic. The production area was extended by approx. 1,600 m² with a modern new building.
2004
Takeover of the company Hekuplast
The previous partial ownership of Hekuplast was expanded. The company therefore becomes a 100% subsidiary of Helios.
2000
Construction of a high-shelf warehouse
Erection of a high-shelf warehouse in Wertheim with a total of 1,638 pallet storage positions.
1996
Foundation of the company Hekuplast
The Hekuplast production facility was founded in the Czech Republic. It supplies the parent company Helios with the required plastic parts.
1991
New production building
Construction of a new production facility in the industrial estate in Wertheim-Bestenheid am Kessler.
1950
Relocation from Ilmenau/Thüringen to Wertheim
Reconstruction of a production facility in Wertheim after compulsory expropriation at the founding location in Ilmenau/Thüringen. Re-start in Wertheim under the temporary name "Tauberglas".
1909
Founding of the company Helios
Traugott Bulle founds the Helios company in Ilmenau, Thüringen.
